things to do (or eat) in lucbanHere are some things that you could do (or mostly eat, actually) to maximize your trip to Lucban during the Pahiyas Festival. tips and suggested itinerary for pahiyas festival 2015Pahiyas Festival is celebrated every May 15th of the year, no matter what day it falls. In 2014, it fell on a Thursday so crowd was expectedly smaller. Best if you could take a leave for a weekday trip rather than go on a weekend. In 2015, it would fall on a Friday — best for a 3-day road trip to Lucban and other farther areas of Quezon!

cagbalete islandCagbalete Island is part of Quezon province, just off the coast of Mauban. Travel time is usually 6 hours from Manila including bus ride to Mauban and boat ride from Mauban Port to Cagbalete Island. This is definitely one of the beaches in Quezon I would recommend exploring with the family, kids specifically

borawan islandBorawan has been the talk of the town among my peers since last year. Enticed by the beautiful photos, by its reason for being called Borawan (combination of Boracay and Palawan), and by the fact that it is only a few hours from Manila, we decided to finally visit the island last February 2016.
