The Ultimate Guide to Boracay Island: Discovering the Best Resorts and Hotels in Station 2 Near White Beach and D'Mall

Follow us on social media

Boracay Island stands as the ultimate beach vacation spot in the Philippines, captivating travelers with its pristine shores and shallow turquoise waters.

Among the various areas to stay on the island, Station 2 is still the most sought-after and best area to stay in despite bigger and better resorts being built in other locations. Situated in close proximity to the renowned White Beach and vibrant D'Mall, Station 2 still remains to be a prime location that combines convenience, affordability, and beauty.

Here are some of the reasons why Station 2 is the best area to stay in on your next Boracay vacation:

  1. Proximity to White Beach: Station 2 is situated along the famous White Beach, which is often regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. By staying in Station 2, you have direct access to the pristine white sands and crystal-clear waters of White Beach, allowing you to enjoy the beach lifestyle right at your doorstep.
  2. Vibrant and Exciting Atmosphere: Station 2 is known for its lively and bustling atmosphere. It is the central hub of Boracay, mainly because of D'Mall at its heart, this area is filled with numerous restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment options. Whether you're looking for local cuisine, international dining, or vibrant nightlife, Station 2 offers a wide range of choices to cater to different tastes and preferences.
  3. Convenient Amenities and Services: Station 2, including D'Mall, is well-equipped with essential amenities and services. You'll find convenience stores, pharmacies, ATMs, and various shops within walking distance. It is also home to D'Mall, a popular commercial complex where you can shop for souvenirs, clothing, and accessories.
  4. Accessibility to Activities and Excursions: From Station 2, you can easily arrange and access a wide array of activities and excursions. Whether you're interested in water sports, island hopping, snorkeling, or exploring nearby attractions, the tour operators and activity centers in Station 2 offer convenient options to fulfill your adventure desires. It is also a short walk away from station 1 and 3 where most activities' rendezvous points are.
  5. Transportation and Connectivity: Station 2 provides easy access to transportation options since it's only 1-3 minutes walk to the island's main road. E-trikes (short of electric tricycles), the main mode of transport in Boracay, are readily available along the main road, allowing you to travel to other stations, attractions, or even venture further on the island.
  6. Diverse Accommodation Options: Most importantly, station 2 offers a diverse range of accommodation options to suit different budgets and preferences. From luxury resorts and boutique hotels to budget-friendly guesthouses and hostels, you'll find a wide selection of accommodations in Station 2. Families seeking a comfortable retreat will find family-friendly resorts that offer spacious rooms, kid-friendly amenities, and recreational activities to keep everyone entertained.

To ensure that you are able to find the best accommodation for you in Station 2, we have meticulously compiled a list of hotels and resorts that are either conveniently located at the beachfront, or hotels that are 1-2 minutes walk to the beach but located right smack in the middle of D'Mall, or hotels that are a short walk away from both.

In our list, you would also be able to identify accommodations that are considered luxury, mid-range or budget. I would personally always go for mid-range accommodations, which bulk of them are, since they strike a balance between affordability and quality, ensuring a delightful stay without compromising on comfort. These resorts offer well-appointed rooms, quality customer service, and a host of amenities such as swimming pools, spa facilities, and on-site dining options.

I would also personally ensure that we are just a few steps away from D'Mall where you can shop and discover a wide range of restaurants and fastfoods to choose from.

Each resort has been carefully selected based on their location as well as the quality of the services that they provide. Whether you crave tranquility or thrive on vibrant beachfront energy, you should be able to find the hotel/resort best suited to your needs.

Henann Regency Resort & Spa (Luxury)

Henann Regency Resort & Spa is a prestigious 5-star beachfront resort with 302 world-class rooms providing a wide array of room types including standard rooms, family rooms, pool access rooms, etc. The average price per night is around PHP 4,200 depending on the room type you get. The resort boasts three outdoor pools, six restaurants, and a poolside bar, providing ample options for relaxation and dining. Complimentary WiFi and breakfast are offered to enhance guests' convenience. Situated just steps away from the white sands of Boracay Beach, the resort's prime beachfront location is a major highlight for visitors. Although it's not as near to D'Mall as the other resorts in this list but still only a few minutes walk.

Coast Boracay (Luxury)

Coast Boracay is not supposed to be in this list since although it's by the beachfront, it's not exactly near D'Mall (about 5-6 minutes walk). But this charming 71-room resort is also one of the sought after hotels in Boracay that offers an array of amenities and services. With a restaurant, bar, and free WiFi, the resort provides convenience and connectivity. The average price per night is approximately PHP 6,000 so while it's not the cheapest out there, guests consistently express their satisfaction with the resort, highlighting its prime location, cleanliness, and delightful culinary offerings. The hotel is so highly rated for its staff and service, beating 99% of competition within the island with its whopping 5.0 rating in Tripadvisor and 9.6 rating in Agoda. I rarely see numbers like this!
