siquijor | islandia beach resort: a reviewHere is my short review of Islandia Beach Resort. I can't compare it with other beach resorts in the area since this was my first time in this province but based on my one-night stay in the resort, it was definitely a 5 over 5! :)

Ate Dimple is very easy to talk to. When I was inquiring through Facebook, she was quick to respond. She also took the liberty to provide us with instructions on how to get to Siquijor. When we arrived at the resort at past 7:00 PM, she was there to greet us and made sure we had a sumptous dinner. She had their specialty cooked for us since we were so famished that evening. She even introduced us to her husband who was there with his friends. Ate Dimple also took the initiative to arrange a tricycle tour for us for the following day. :) |

Since I went to Siquijor mainly for the beaches, I had to make sure that the resort we are staying in was along one. There are several choices around Siquijor but I’ve heard that the best ones are in San Juan. The beach was not very enticing to swim in, but we enjoyed the colors of the sky during sunset and sunrise. The resort was practically empty so we had the beach all to ourselves. |
